Community project

Is an exciting community initiative that has been borne out of St Paul’s Church and is based at St Paul's Church in St Paul’s Close.
Following the move of our Sunday Worship to the Gryphon School, we have a vision to release the church building back to the community to enable it to become a resource for working in partnership with other local agencies. We currently have three active groups running.  More are planned.

  • TUMS, TOTS & TINIES (TTT) toddlers playing

Meet every Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 12.15 p.m. during term-time.  TTT is run in partnership with local Health Visitors.   It is staffed by volunteers from St Paul's Church and the Abbey Mothers' Union.   It aims to provide advice, babies lyingsupport and friendship to parent /carers and has a health focus.  The first part of the morning is reserved for parents/carers with children under 9 months (older siblings welcome). The second part of the morning starts at 11 a.m. for all those who are 'on the move' and over 9 months.  The morning routine consists of free and guided play, craft activities, refreshments and health advice, and ends with songs and a story.     TTT provides an informal space for parents/carers to rest, chat, access advice and gain support from other parent/carers.
